Clinton Bush

is an American Pastor, serial entrepreneur, food product developer, social impact pioneer, health equity food as a medicine thought leader, consultant, philanthropist, and author based in Jacksonville, Florida. Bush is the Co-founder of Global Urban Transformational Capital Management Group, LLC, Global Urban Transformational Development LLC, and Global Urban Transformational Food Ventures LLC. He also serves as a Co-founder, Principal, and shareholder of the TPP Capital Holdings LLC. His podcast, Bush podcast is heard in over 26 countries and has created an impact in a short frame of time.

 

Bush is known for developing the award-winning City Kidz Viva Vanilla Ice Cream flavor. He has also garnered attention by formulating the very first food science curriculum, and product development lab for high school students via the City Kidz Food Science Lab initiative. Bush has over four decades of experience in social impact development and has spearheaded several initiatives in that domain such as Tioga District™, and Tioga District™ Preventative Health Hub™.  He is regarded as an expert in developing public-private partnerships and is considered a pioneer in social impact investing in urban communities.

 

Bush specializes in food innovation science, food technology, food marketing, branding, packaging, processing, production, and sensory testing. 

 

Throughout his career, Bush has worked with renowned global food scientists and food industry leaders to advance food innovation technologies and introduce new curriculums.

Career

Bush started his career in 1988 when he launched Amin's Homemade Seafood Macaroni Salad, his first food innovation as a food entrepreneur and vendor. Bush’s dish soon gained recognition throughout the city and was available in the local grocery stores and corner stores.

In 2007, Bush founded City Kidz Ice Cream Café with his wife and brother. It is a business and social impact initiative anchored around ice cream and healthy food that teaches teens about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and how to manage a business.

 

In 2010, Bush was appointed as the president of the Springfield Area Merchant Business Association where he served for two years. The same year, he also founded the City Kidz Food Science Educational Lab "From Classroom to Supermarket Shelves" social impact initiative to train and educate youth on high-profile careers and entrepreneurial opportunities in the food industry.

 

 In 2017 Bush founded Clinton Bush's  CB Food Innovations, and w.w.clintonbush.com to help assist food entrepreneurs in product development, and to take their products to market.

 

Apart from his entrepreneurial journey, Bush has also trained and worked with college and university professors, grad students from Cornell University Food Science Department, Penn State's College of Agricultural Food Science Department, St. Joseph University Food Marketing Department.

Awards

Bush is the recipient of the 2012 Penn State Danisco Ingredients Leadership Award. In 2021 he was named to the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) Health Equity Advisory.
